About Deconstructing Finance

Helping You to Understand Finance is my Passion

My name is Caroline Kirrane. I have a degree in Business from Dublin City University and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Trinity College Dublin. I am a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charterholder.

I have a decade of experience working in financial markets, including positions in a hedge fund in Paris, a trading firm in Dublin and as an Economist with the Central Bank of Ireland.

I have taught finance for 3 years, including a range of finance modules at Trinity College Dublin Business School, where I won a teaching excellence award in 2018 and at the Irish Management Institute.

There is a wealth of information in the Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements of any business. To understand this information, you need to be able to speak the language of business - accounting. I can help you to read, interpret and analyse the statements of your business - or any business. Understanding these statements can unlock valuable insights and I can give you the tools to do this.
